The Shepherd is a balance of extremes designed to help you grow your longboarding skills from the nose and the tail. Very wide, but foiled quite thin; playing stability against responsiveness. The flattest nose-rocker in our line-up, but the most aggressive tail flip; providing impossibly long nose-rides and tight arcing turns. An absurdly wide tail-block but an aggressively rolled vee bottom; giving excellent hold from the nose and perfectly fluid rail to rail transitions from the tail. While not the easiest longboard I’ve ever ridden, the Shepherd is by far the most fun. Its only limitation is your lack of courage to stay on the nose through that critical section or drive off the tail to keep wrapping turns tighter, because it can do it if you try it.
